The Mighty Buffalo: A Tale of Resilience

Buffaloes are symbols of strength and endurance, and our buffalo, Bison, exemplifies these traits. A few years ago, Bison injured his leg after a minor fall in his enclosure. The injury required extensive care, including daily massages, hydrotherapy sessions, and a specially designed exercise routine to regain strength.

Thanks to the dedication of the zoo’s veterinary team, Bison made a full recovery and is now back to leading his herd. His story has become an inspiration for visitors, many of whom followed his progress through social media updates.

Bison is also known for his protective nature. During feeding time, he ensures that the younger members of his herd eat first, often standing guard to keep other animals away. His leadership and resilience make him a true ambassador for his species.
